It’ll feature plenty of different types of snakes, plus supplies and books on raising reptiles for sale. The Northern Virginia Reptile Expo will take place across several upcoming dates, on August 28, October 9, and December 11, at Prince William County Fairgrounds in Manassas. Dogs can also run free at the adjacent dog park. Dog swims (in a real pool!) and dog races are a highlight of the event. The free event will feature adoptions and other vendors, plus face painting, food, and music. On September 12th, the Loudoun Pet Expo will welcome dogs from all over the region. Most exciting for the kids, Milford Meadow Farm will be offering pony rides for an additional fee. Plus, you’ll get to see pups show off their best abilities through the Pup ‘N Iron agility courses. In addition to shopping, attendees will have the opportunity to chill with live reptiles and marsupials through animal demonstrations by All Creatures Animal Education and Awesome Possumz. The lineup will include more than twenty vendors, including independent makers like Dog Gone It Gifts and Pup My Style. If you are bringing your pet, just make sure to register them ahead of time. Tickets are $8 for adults, $7 for seniors, and children 12 and under are free. Bring your own pet, or just go by yourself to experience the concentration of adorableness. The 10th Annual Fredericksburg Pet Show will feature a fun lineup of activities to try with pets of all kinds. On the weekend of September 18 through 19, the pets are gathering in Fredericksburg.
